Anaya’s head was throbbing when she came to, the blurred vision of ugly, sneering faces shoving their way into her mind brutally. She moaned, and her ears were now keen enough to hear the mock laughter that ensued afterwards. “Aw, the lil’ pony’s awake, look!” Came a harsh voice, followed by several others, interjecting their own ridiculous comments that almost didn’t make sense. “That’s enough.” Silence followed this new voice immediately, but Anaya recognized it with a cold dread.

Jeffron, Justa, and Chris look at the rebuilt town from the city’s newest skyscraper. It was truly miraculous; the entire recreation of their homes had only taken a few days at most. In fact it almost seems greater than it was before, trees spring up beside buildings and everything is already bustling with life. The marketplace is full of merchants of all origins, all wanting to help in establishing the city.
